ARTC WEEK

Deciding your possible future career isn't always easy, especially when you have no idea as to how the path you decide to take will turn out. With this in mind, ARMY Academy has organised a special week, ARMY Road To College Week, full of talks and advice on the different majors ARMYs themselves commented they would be interested in.

The week offered ARMYs with the opportunities to participate in talks, Q&As, discussions and ultimately gain as much knowledge as they could on what exactly they may experience if they pursue a major or degree they're interested in.

The first two days of the week was primarily aimed at Art based majors. With discussion on majors ranging from Architecture to Music and Film, students joined special ARMY volunteers who spent their time with the students to discuss and answer any questions or worries.

A special thanks to @armyxtech@btsarmycinema@MusicBtsarmy and @btsasarthistory, who assisted with our project.

The next three days were focused on Engineering, Technology and Science. Volunteers with insight into Biology, Chemistry, Medicine and Biochemistry discussed and answered any questions students planning to enter these subjects had.

Special thanks to @ArmyMedStudents for assisting with the organisation of this event!

The last few days of the week focused on tips and advice in regards to college applications for students in the US. From scholarships to tips on how to get the best application forward, our volunteers gave advice based on their own experiences with the different application processes they experienced.

College is a whole new page in not only your career as a student but also your life. Reaching such a milestone is not always easy, and that's okay. The important thing to remember is that you're never alone. From online resources to your teachers and ARMY Academy, we are here to support you on your journey as you make your way towards achieving your dreams.

*August 14th

With a grand total of 346 participants and our many precious volunteers, Road To College Week 2018 brought ARMYs together with the goal of supporting and inspiring students to go for their dream major.

ARMY Academy would like to extend our warmest gratitude to all of our volunteers for this project. Without you, it wouldn't have been possible!

Best of luck to all ARMYs applying for college 💜!

2020

#ArmyRoadToCollege

2020 has not been the smoothest year in all senses including education. The pandemic has changed a lot of things, one of them being the implementation of online learning, which has now become the norm. It hasn't been easy on teachers and neither has it been easy on students, many missing out on the valuable first-hand experience one would get from their first year in college as well as the final memories of high school as students leave a lot of what they've known behind.

ARTC 2020

Finding what you want to do for your future isn't an easy task, especially not with the pandemic changing things around. So many things have come to play this year, with the restrictions have major effects on things like mental health.

In order to address these topics, as well as give insight into the many possible majors offered in college, ARMY Academy has brought back ARMY Road to College in order to give our fellow students some guidance with their potential future.

With the success of our project, we would like to thank all of our volunteers and speakers for making this possible. A special thanks to @ResearchBTS, @BangtanScholars, @BTS_AHC and @gvfxarmy for their participation in our project!
